A teeny portrait of the Whale on a China tea plate. I started this series as a tribute to Charleston's insane service industry and the iconic bars that keep it thriving. The Whale specifically has become one of my favorite places downtown- not only because of the incredible rotating beer collection, but because of their amazing bartenders and community who make stopping in feel like hanging with friends.
